Reconciliation Action Plan
SEDA College NT takes great pride in the development of its Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). The RAP has been crafted to concentrate on enhancing our educational practices, fostering relationships, and promoting respect within the College. We aim to reinforce relationships, respect, and opportunities both in the classroom and throughout our College community.
Formulated collaboratively with our staff, parents, and community, our vision for Reconciliation is as follows:
SEDA College NT will actively acknowledge and accept our nation’s shared history since colonisation. We will embrace and promote cultural diversity in all that we do as we build children’s appreciation of the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and contributions. We will respect and celebrate the strengths of First Nations peoples and cultures; and will ensure culturally safe environments wherein shared pride and a strong sense of identity in our next generations. We are committed to empowering our students and families to take collaborative action towards reconciliation as we support and walk alongside them on this journey.
