Community
Our belief is that every young person has the capacity to engage in learning to achieve their life ambitions and make significant and positive contributions to their community.
SEDA College NT is passionate about providing a range of community engagement initiatives where college students and staff collaborate to deliver events, activities, activations, gala days and programs on behalf of our industry partners and community partners.
Our staff are experienced in facilitating clinics and events with College students at primary schools, events, community group locations, and local businesses. These experiences equip our students with the skills and knowledge to deliver community engagement initiatives whilst taking pride in delivering industry-leading quality and service.
In 2023, 2,780 hours of sports, fitness, and general health experiences were provided to students across Top End Primary Schools, members of community groups, and government departments. In 2024, the College's community engagement programs are expected to exceed the 2023 hours.
We welcome new opportunities for our staff and students to be involved. To book a community engagement initiative with our College, please contact us to express your interest or complete our Events and Clinics Expression of Interest online form below.

Our students have loved having SEDA classes visit to assist them with learning new PE skills.
The Forrest Parade staff members told me that when the kids see the SEDA students walk past their window of a morning they all start clapping and cheering – ‘yes! We get to see the SEDA students today in PE!!’ Staff have been so impressed at how patient the SEDA students are with all students and those requiring additional support.
We look forward to continuing our partnership with SEDA for the rest of 2023 and on to 2024.
