The connection between education and industry facilitates authentic learning experiences and student opportunities. This combination enables our students to acquire the skills to support future educational and employment pathways.
NT Cricket and Cricket Australia are dedicated to providing our students with education, development, and participation opportunities within the industry. With a strong passion for cricket, their staff seek to develop student's skills and experiences by providing them with industry-specific opportunities to help achieve these outcomes. When opportunities arise, students who have selected cricket as their sport will be provided first access to experience:
- Opportunity to complete work experience at Northern Territory Cricket
- Working in a range of areas from groundskeeping, to community engagement and management of competition
- Delivering coaching programs alongside NT Cricket staff
- Event management and administration of the NT Strike League
- Matchday and operational assistance with local cricket associations
- Opportunity to be involved with National level teams whilst in Darwin
- Coaching and officiating at school-level competitions conducted by NT Cricket
- Introductory level umpiring and coaching qualifications
Students who select NT Cricket as their preferred industry partner will have college uniforms that reflect the NT Cricket and Cricket Australia brand.
